Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper

Ninety-seven percent of the paper used at Document Services is recycled paper. When virgin paper is required, Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper from sustainably harvested forests is used whenever possible.

Inks low in Volatile Organic Compounds

Document Services uses soy and vegetable-based inks that are low in Volatile Organic Compounds harmful to the environment. Water-based inks are used addressing pieces for mail delivery.

Leading-edge digital equipment and processes optimize efficiency and minimize waste. The chemicals used in pre-press and press equipment are water-soluble, not petroleum or alcohol-based. Advanced plate-making technology reduces the need for developing chemicals and streamlines the workflow process by eliminating plate development steps.
